Newborn: Sienna Kate

We welcomed this beautiful baby girl Sienna to the world the Friday before Thanksgiving! She came 10 days early and lucky for me I was able to see her just before we left town! She belongs to some of my favorite people in the world! She is gorgeous and tiny as can be!

What To Wear November

One of the biggest questions I get after someone has booked a session is "What should we wear?" I've been meaning to get around to making monthly "what to wear" posts, but I've been too overwhelmed with photoshoots and editing that it hasn't happened. I finally subscribed to another photographer's "What to Wear" subsriptions that you will see montly on here! Hope it helps! You can always refer to my "what to wear" section at the top of the blog to get more ideas. What you wear makes a big impact on your pictures!

McDonald Family: Mini Session

The super cute McDonald family! Mom had to do a last minute change of color scheme due to a child wanting red shoes for her Christmas picture! She did a great job on the outfits! I love the little "lumber jack" outfit! This was the last mini shoot and we had to schedule for 4:30 due to work. I knew we were going to be in a race against the sun going down, but it ended up being a little cloudy this evening so it was even a more difficult task to get good lighting! We also had a wiggly toddler who just didn't want to sit still, so pair that with a time and light restraint and I was worried. However, I think we got some keepers!

Slaughter Family: Mini Session

Joanna is one of my favorite people in the world! I was so happy she asked me to take her family's pictures again this year because her kids are so stinking cute!!
You might remember this cute little guy from his 18 month lollipop pictures! He just turned 2 so it was time to update his portraits! He's such a good little model! Poor little thing was shaking from being so scared of the geese and ducks, and yet he still had great photos!!

Payne Family

The Payne's were an absolute dream to work with! Their kids were all cooperative and cute as can be! They had a rough day prior to the photos and were running late, so we didn't have a lot of time with light left, and they were so easy we were able to make it work!

Morris Family Mini Session

These are good friends who I've had the pleasure of taking pictures of before! And their beautiful dog Jinx fits right in the middle!

The Olsen Family: Mini Shoot

The Olsen family was my second family in the line up for a mini session! They were so sweet!
Poor Olivia was at the tail end of a cold, but I think she enjoyed the "flying" despite not feeling well! Check out this baby skinny jeans!!!! Aren't they to die for?

Orion is a handsome little guy!
